Statement for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Terrorist Act, Targeted the Norwegian Capital ,Oslo

Iraqi National - INNA / Monday 25 Jul, 2011/ Baghdad / On 22/7/2011 the Norwegian capital Oslo, was subject of two terrorist attacks caused a number of dead and wounded people , most of them were young and children ,and left destruction in properties.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq condemns and denounces this criminal terrorist act in the strongest terms, and expresses its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and wishes for the wounded and injured people a speedy recovery.

On this occasion, the Ministry confirmed its position to combat terrorism and fight it, from whatever source it may come, regardless of its kind, religion, color, and affirms its solidarity with the government and people of Norway in investigating and bringing criminals to justice to receive their comeuppance. / End / A T / Foreign Ministry / Media
